My almost-11-year-old is IN LOVE with penguins. I have these two penguin stamps from Argentina (black and white: 1961; blue: 1965) and we would both love to see more from around the world. I'm hoping I can get her interested in collecting if I can show her how many penguins there are :-D   |

Hi Eva, Nice theme!! there are hundredths of stamps show penguins from all over the world. In my collection are several from French Southern and Antarctic Territories which I posted in the bird thread. Israel issued only one with penguin. It shows "Pingi the Penguin", a famous character of the Israeli children TV series "Lovely Butterfly". The stamp was issued on June 22, 1999. If your daughter will decide to collect penguins on stamps, I will be glad to send you this Israeli set on First Day Cover:   |
