Placing some in herited stamps in my album and having trouble identifying which PR stamps these are.

10cent stamp is on noticeably thinner paper than the other two, and was marked as PR2B.

I think the Blue stamp is PR5 because of the white border.

The Red 25c is the one I am not sure about. The paper weight feels about the same as the PR5 above, so my guess would be it is a PR7 (Dark Carmine on Hard White Paper) and not PR3 (Orange Red on Thin Hard Paper).

Appreciate any opinions/insights.

Stodd, you may get more responses if you clarify the title of your post by changing Pr to Newspaper stamps

Unfortunately, we can't really show each other the true color of a stamp because of how each computer and monitor displays the posted image.
That said, I see Dark Carmine more than Orange Red.

Here are a few links that might be helpful. The first link is a listing of these stamps offered for sale by Miller Stamps, provided so that you can make image comparisons. The second link is to a Siegel Power Search for PR1 (you can easily create a new search for the others). This is also for purpose of making comparisons, but also with the idea that some of the auction lot descriptions may provide some useful information for you.

The 3rd link provides information on the well-known facsimiles/counterfeits of these stamps. This link is provided to give you an even bigger picture of the field, not to suggest in the least that yours are facsimiles or counterfeits.
