Ok - not sure if this is permitted - but I am doing a happy dance over finishing this set - the 1873 Justice Department Officials. They aren't perfect copies, and I'd like to eventually find both mint and used examples and a 2c without overprint, but it's a good start and they fit my budget. Yeehaw!
I might check that 24 cent very carefully. Look at the perfs and the paper. The brightness of the shade, and the brightness of the paper along with the look of the perfs lead me to suspect that it might be a proof with fake perfs.
