Hi,

I bought a giant box of stamps so that I could check through the older stamps and pick out ones that I liked. This box had some great stamps in it so I know these are unpicked for varieties.

I don't know much about these Centennial stamps but I sold some once and there seem to be collectors out there who like to buy these in bulk. These are only used copies but there's at least 1000 or more here.
Do these have any value?

This is your second post about the same batch of stamps. On another post someone suggested to put them up for 99 cents - then see how it goes. You won't get rich, but there are folks who go through this type of material looking for varieties

Sorry. My memory is fading. I did put some up once for 99c and they sold for 99c. Then afterwards someone came up and asked if I had more.

Memory fading...... nothing new!
Some time back one of your country men had a very long post with oodles of varieties on the Canadian Centennials. Very interesting, but I do not remember the gentleman's name now. I can not find the post either, but it showed that your material can really be useful!

Littleriverphil, I do not believe the picture you showed was what I was referring to. This gentleman showed each stamp separate and showed the variety most of the time as a close up. The posts may have been closed?

OK. The link must have been fixed and yes, that is the post I referred to!

I have a collection of about 15 albums of (primarily) unused Centennial varieties and types put together by someone quite passionate about the subject. It includes some quite scarce items and everything is well labelled. It is a wonderful collecting area for those interested as there is no shortage of subgroups and it is a beautiful sight when it is displayed well.

For used bulk like pictured above, I agree to toss it on ebay for a low start bid and see what happens but a low final value is not unexpected for something like this.

Stamps, could you possibly show us a page of two to show us how you do this? It would really be appreciated very much
