I ran across this New Zealand postal-fiscal stamp, Scott AR25 (and I believe to be SG F137). It has an Auckland partial CDS at top, so appears to have been postally used. It also has a light embossed impression which includes Auckland in the impression. Scott lists this stamp used with a dash "-" for value.

For a sound copy (which this is not), what would be the value (catalog or auction reference value)?

Is this actually postally used, or is it fiscally used (from the embossed imprint)? If fiscally used, what is the Auckland CDS purpose? Was it on a revenue document and sent in the mail?

Your stamp is fiscally used and neither of the cancels are postal. New Zealand had circular date fiscal cancels at the time which were somewhat similar to postal cancels, and it's normal to find both circular cancels and embossed cancels on one stamp.

Barefoot (2019) assigns your stamp a catalogue value of GBP 2.00 (fiscally used), while Elsmore (link below) assigns it a value of NZD 6.00:

Other members had asked similar questions in the past, so you might want to look at this thread as well:

Thank you, Halfpenny Yellow! I suspected that might be the case. Also, thanks for the links!
