Next Barbados 1920 1d stamp, wm multiple crown CA (Stanley Gibbons 203) is coloured brown instead of vermilion. I cannot find this colour variation in my SG Commonwealth catalogue. Is any of you familiar with this one, and if so, is it rare? Your feedback will be appreciated! With regards, Cor.

Interesting. It looks like the colour of the farthing stamp.

Have you checked the watermark?
The cancellation appearsto have been removed. That may point at chemical alteration.

Thank you NSK for your contribution. I checked the watermark indeed. I am afraid your idea of chemical alteration due to cancellation removal could be right. Of course I hope otherwise. Any of you members with additional information? Could it be the cancellation is just very light?

It is a "changeling", a stamp that's color has changed due to environmental factors. Reds and oranges are most prone to such a thing.
