Hello Members,
I am having a little bit of trouble identifying this 1910 surcharged bi-part stamp.

The overprint "PROVISORIO" is where I'm stuck at.
I am using a 2008 AFINSA catalog and can't seem to find it. I can identify the
surcharge but not the "ovpt."

Any help with cataloging would be helpful.

Thanks for looking.

It looks like someone applied the overprint twice on that right half but with the lower overprint only being a partial "PROVIS".

Yes, 1911. This is Scott 165, Afinsa/Mundifil 146. Red bar/surcharge on top of Scott 135, Afinsa/Mundifil 127 (pic shown).

NSK
Thanks for the input.
The Provisorio (provisional} ovpt. seems fine to me as it's half of a diagonal
bipartite.
If any doubling is noticeable it would be the lower red 5 Avos.
These stamps circulated bipartite diagonally and the CV is for whole stamps.
As the example is a bipartite but both halves of the same stamp, does the CV
remain as a full example {double} or a lower CV.
My Afinsa 2008 has two CV's for the 1911 10 Avos Don Carlos 1.and not very
helpful as I don't read Portuguese.
Does the Scott catalog have a more up to date CV and explanation
regards
John

Thanks members.
I have it as 1911 Macau SG207, Macau China Portugal SG 207 1911 5a. on
bisect half of 10a. blue MNH.
A current CV would be helpful.
I have it as £160 for right half and £110 for left half both being fine used.
Would these be correct
These seem to be in mint condition.

I thought I should show another Macau bipartite on piece.
The following I believe should carry a high CV.

That was the loop below the lower curve of the 'S' that is visible in the example posted by GMOT. It looked like there was another S there, but it is quite ornate.

Another Macau example 1911 black & white emergency labels.
These also carry a high CV.
