Hi Everyone,
I wanted to buy the new OSIRIS-REx stamp (actually the portfolio) and the James Webb stamp, but they only send orders to U.S. addresses. Can anyone in the US help me? :-))
Thanks in advance.

Two fees required, Postage & Handling PLUS Foreign Order fee. Also check local Postal Authority regarding requirement for registration. (Order Form is not in online catalog : Fees (all US Funds) $1.65 if item total is<$50; $2.30 if item total >$50.01, Foreign Address $7.05. Address: Stamp Fulfillment Services, PO BOX 219400, Kansas City MO 64121-7156, USA (Order # 484225 @$23.95 (Registered order for International is $20.25) |

Careful now, a lot of folks haven't been to a post office to buy a stamp to mail an actual letter or postcard in about as long. |

Hello, I'm willing to help you! I would need a moderator to help me get in touch with you since we can't message on here if they're ok with that. |

tried to be a little informative here without casting. The OP stated that supplier would not send to foreign address. USPS will ship to foreign address with noted conditions & fees. (So who is 'they'?) My Sherlock thinks something is afoot>>> I am unaware of any curtailment of mail to GERMANY!! |

in the title, not in the message. My thoughts would be are any members dealing with foreign countries, specifically GERMANY, having issues with mailing items?? (Acceptance at PO?) |

Nothing needs to "be afoot." Not everything's a conspiracy. German OP is looking to buy maybe $20 in US stamps, and is having trouble doing so because USPS won't ship overseas without an actual certified check or US-based credit card which almost no one outside of the US would have to begin with. That leaves the OP with two choices: have someone here buy and send it (and get reimbursed), or wait to find it on ebay or some other site. |

Although OP does not explicitly state this, I had little doubt he wanted to order the stamps from the USPS web shop. Their website appears only to allow for orders to be sent to US addresses. The information about the possibility to use a cheque drawn against a US bank and the suggestion to use a credit card issued by a US Bank are informative. They, however, are also quite useless.
Even in Germany, that is somewhat backward when it comes to banking, cheques are relics. If you can find a US Bank in Europe that will let you use cheques, the account, likely, would be with a European subsidiary of such. That subsidiary might be a separate legal entity residing in the EU and not qualify as "US Bank."
That does not even address the costs of currency exchange and securely sending a cheque across the Atlantic. |

all the OP needs to do is send to Fulfillment Service with appropriate payment, inclusive of fees & order item #, provide ship address & they will send it. His bank can do the currency conversion & provide the appropriate draft/check payable to USPS in US funds. We've spent more energy on this than the OP will in doing the transaction. |
