After 22 years on ebay and over 1100 purchases I was blocked by covercrazy2 trying to make my first purchase with them. I am in California they in New Hampshire. I have a PO Box. I am able to send them messages but no response. Any thoughts, ideas, clues, feel good memes?

I got blocked one time because I asked a very simple question about what appeared to be a missing piece on a quite expensive welder I needed for my shop. No explanation or response was received as to the why I was blocked. As I was fairly certain that my end of the correspondence was going through the only satisfaction was letting him know that he lost a sale for quite a few thousand dollars. Never responded. |

Randy, if the call/voicemail doesn't pan out, there may be some obscure reason the seller is not accepting your offers. You may wish to create a new account and make a few inexpensive purchases so you at least have some positive feedback. Then, as a "new" customer you should be able to make offers, especially if the seller doesn't have a limiter built in to prevent offers from buyers who don't yet have enough feedbacks. Just an idea- I have done this mainly to be able to buy from one particular seller. Obvious, I know, but just sharing ideas. Of course, feedback is really useless on ebay anyway, as Rogdcam has stated many times, so you could always use the business card method of building your feedback for a new account. |

Still no response. Too much I do not know about opening a second account. I just read that the first account would have to be closed and a different email and phone number used. That I have but still wary and leery. While there are other dealers that sell my new interest Florida postal history especially stampless covercrazy2 is a player.

Randy - I have it on good authority that when emailing them you used the poop emoji multiple times. |

I was blocked by them several years ago as well! Have no idea what I may have done and they were completely unresponsive to my queries. Unfortunate as they had several items I would have purchased back in the day which still appear to be in inventory. Life is short so I just include "-covercrazy2" in all my ebay postal history searches and move on. |

Maybe they don't want to do business with California buyers based on its tax policies? |

I've heard that Elwyn has been having some "health issues" - the lack of a prompt response might have to do with the medical issues |

I have spoken extensively with Anne. Yes Elwyn has major medical issues. Also, they have had ebay blocking issues. We tried to resolve the issue while on the phone to no avail. I have worked things out with her to our mutual satisfaction. Anne will try to keep things going until March with ebay when the contract runs out. 250,000 covers will become available. Yet to be determined. Anne is a wonderful person and anyone having a problem she encourages to call her but this is an extremely difficult time. |

Lots of people have more than one ebay account, including folks who have separate selling and buying accounts. All that is required is a separate email address. |

Seller "Georgetownlaw" blocks everyone. You can ask what time it is and BAM, you are blocked. Funny actually. |
