This 1938 partial strike cancel on a Polish stamp was done at "???DZIEWICZ".
None of my sources list a place in Poland whose name ends in "DZIEWICZ." Or was it a place that is now in Lithuania, Belarus or the Ukraine? Can anyone help me to ID the place where this stamp was canceled? My thanks in advance for any aid.

You're overlooking what may be an E at the end.

Now that I look at the much larger pic of that stamp on my computer screen I think I may see an E after the DZIEWICZ. But my sources don't list a DZIEWICZE, either.

I originally thought it might be Radziewicze, but the post office for Radziewicze is actually in Gudziewicze, which is now my guess. Now Belarus, but then, Poland.

There may be other possibilities, too, but this might give you something to start in on a deeper dive.

The source for post office locations should be Skorowidz miejscowosci Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej z oznaczeniem terytorjalnie im wlasciwych wladz I urzedów oraz urzadzen komunikacyjnych, Przemysl, Warszawa 1933, which might roughly translate to Index of Localities in the Republic of Poland with the Indication of Territorially Competent Authorities, Offices and Communication Facilities, Przemysl, Warsaw 1933.

My 2Gr.

I invite other possibilities. I haven't exhausted all other potential offices.
