Soaking Ability Of New Canadian Issues

I obtain some of my covers from a Dealer in Toronto. The items are sent with a superb selection of current Canadian postage in S/S, Blocks, or strips. I do not collect Canadian (with this & some other exceptions). I do not have a current Scott which identifies the soaking ability of current Canadian Issues. Prior to 'drowning' I would like some advice as to the difficulty (such as US issues) or ease to soak off these items from the mailer. Please & thank you

I do not know the answer to your soakability question, but my first thought was "Why do anything with them if you do not collect them?" Sell them or pass them along to the next collector to spend their time with and invest your time in those areas you do focus on.

Yes, I am thinking the same way John is. Maybe you mis-stated and mean something different?

Except for Canada's "Kiosk" stamps (which are probably never seen anyway), all Canadian stamps will soak very nicely, including all self-adhesives.

Canada Post has specifically requested that the paper manufacturer include something on the back of stamps (sorry, I don't know the technical aspects) so that they can soak. [this was told to a group of collectors by Canada Post's director of stamp services, after a group tour of the Lowe-Martin printing plant in Ottawa several years ago.] This is quite different from some USA stamps.

Thank you studystamps. I don't have the space for the mailers, but I find the issues aesthetically pleasing & wanted to just place in a binder (for no other reason except hoarding). Petert4522 & John thx.
