This postmark has me stumped. The stamp is Hong Kong Scott 88.

The only visible part of the post office name is the last two letters: NE. I have tried searching H.K. post offices and British post offices in China, but found nothing. Based upon the position of the letters, the post office name must be pretty long, perhaps 10-15 letters and spaces.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Robert

Robert -

Just an idea, but it could be Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Will Lack has one in his collection, from Brisbane, see Item #5 in this link:

Hope this helps,

Linus

Could be. I guess I shouldn't rule out postmarks from outside H.K./China.

Thanks.
