My only Civil War cover postmarked Nov 1 1862, from New York to Hawaii via Panama and San Francisco. US SCOTT# 68.
I am still on the hunt for any cover from any Confederate State to Hawaii or visa versa during the Civil War. Unfortunately, by corresponding to 2 leading experts regarding this matter, these covers do not exist.

I actually asked an expert that question a few months ago, just out of curiosity. He was not aware of any either.

You can stop hunting then, I suppose.
This makes for good, quick reading about the subject I think: https://ags.hawaii.gov/wp-content/u...ffice_fa.pdf

classic_paper, thanks for the link. I've already been in contact with the website author of "Post Office in Paradise" as well as Trish, "Confederate Lady", in various emails who both have confirmed that as well. Thanks again.

I would soften the statement to something like "to date, no covers are known to exist", since a new discovery is always possible. I would not stop searching.
