No, I worked with Bill back when he was alive towards that end, but we did not get it done before he passed.

Bill Weiss did not use consecutive numbering like PSE, APS or PF. I don't think he wanted people to know how many certificates he was issuing. A typical certificate would use:

Opinion No. 6 7232 Date 08/02/14

This relates to an unused Scott 72. This information is taken from a Weiss certificate currently on my desk. In the fall of 2012 he told me that he was generating 4,000 certificates on a per annum basis, but with this system there is no way to tell for sure. As near as I can tell all of his Opinion numbers included the Scott number of the item being certified.
