Sometime around 2016 I purchased this stamp (part of a stamp packet). I identified it as France Scott 3303.

Fast forward to today and I find the stamp is no longer listed in the Scott catalog (2021 edition). France Scott numbers 3303-3305 are gone, however, the "Subject Index of French Commemorative Issues" still lists 3303-3305 as Harry Potter Characters. Any ideas as to why Scott delisted this issue?

Thanks,

Robert

Why not eliminate the middleman and the guessing? Write them and ask.

Checking my 2023 Scott catalog, it looks like it's back again.

The French Harry Potter stamps are recognized by the UPU (my faulty memory seems to recall that Scott tends to avoid listing stamp which are not UPU recognized).

They are a range of philatelic products issued for the 2007 edition of the annual stamp celebration "Fête du Timbre." This event was first celebrated in 1937. Until 1999, it was known as "Journée du Timbre." In that year, the stamps' theme was Uderzo's Astérix. In 2000, when it became "Fête du Timbre." The stamps' theme for that year was Hergé's Tintin.

These are very ordinary stamps issued in several formats by La Poste.

It may have been a simple case of 'CTRL-x,' or sloppy definition of columns.
