I just soaked this off this morning:

I was a girl scout for many years until finally as a Junior Girl Scout there were no more leaders. My hubby was a cub scout, weblos, then a boy scout, then a scout leader--he even earned Order of the Arrow.

How many of you were scouts??

I was a boy scout before the service and am now a scout here in WA. I have the silver arrowhead and am a member of Gilwell. I think our silver arrowhead is similar to the US Order of the Arrow. Have you got the new(2008) Aus scout stamps?

No, don't have them, but can you scan and post them here? I would love to see them--and if you ever come across them in used state just let me know and I will send you something you would like from the US.

Thanks! I have an extra US Girl Scouts stamp if Emma doesn't already have one.

I have one son that earned the "Order of the Arrow" as well as my hubby. The hubby was a Scout Leader for years until we moved--by then the boys had gotten out of scouts.
I used to do an Organ Donation Presentation to the Scouts and how it can save lives, but that we all have to let our loved ones around us know
what our wishes are! My hubby has had bilat cornea transplants and if it had not been for someone making that donation, he would be blind from a genetic eye disease that developed in his twenties.

I think James (Bandicoot) is holding back. He lives and breathes Scouts, ecspecially, Joey Scouts. He is the District leader for Joeys. James you're too modest. I was a Cub about 40 years ago.

Anyway here are the stamps.
