and dying in our beds many years from now will we be willign to trade all the stamps from this day to that for one chance just one chance to come back here and tell rod not to build beasts :)

To add to the New Zealand scouting stamp previously posted, here is the Girl Guide stamps that came in the same issue. It also sports a message in Morse Code across the top of the stamp and spells out HEALTH.

First time I have seen Lady Baden Powell on a stamp BeeSee :)

I just bought this one, I cannot resist a Norman Rockwell
and 5c was the right price for the brace.

Comes from a set of 48 scout stamps by rockwell.

(Anybody else caught their nipples in the "Charles Atlas" chest expander?)

wow this thread brought back some memories for me, I was a girl scout when I was younger in england, and then a venture scout after that. I wish I had have stayed on to be a leader, but had babies and moved here.

stamp wise, I only have the Australia golden jubilee of guiding one. but it was really nice reading the thread.
