Im not at all familiar with these Stanley Gibbons Albums and have a question based on the cover page description. In part reads, " since Queen Elizabeths Accession ". Also notice Davo pages. Has this album been modified - doesnt seem original. Did previous owner add these pages ?? Shown is what I have and where it begins.... Tks

I believe you mean DAVO instead of Dave? And nothing seems modified, just using a different binder.
Nothing unusual about the SG description.
You did not mention where all this came from - did you get this from ebay?

from an auction awhile ago. I was after GB QV pennies and the lot had much other varieties mixed in. So now culling through it. A lot im not wanting - but dont know what to do either. The front page description says from Queen Elizabeth and on. But clearly it starts at 1840 not 1952.

Introductory pages can easily be moved around and end up in the wrong place, especially when, as with GB, a country's stamos require multiple volumes. Gibbons has a tie-up with Davo, and markets some of its albums under the Gibbons name. Gibbons itself produces more detailed GB albums. Just move the errant page to the front of the QEII section.

yep. got it - tks. I was more curious about the album and whether the pages went with the cover or whether all mixed up and when I saw QE description, but then started w/ pennies, I knew something had been messed with. The pages are in correct numerical order form 1 to 39, them O's and then PD - officials & postage dues. Seems to have been "customized".

The Stanley Gibbons one country stamp albums are the DAVO stamp albums with a Stanley Gibbons logo.
