The counterfeiters are now counterfeiting 1c and 2c stamps. Not that they charge less than face value for them, they want 2.78 each for 1c and 2c stamps.

Note that they show coil stamps in the ad. But what they actually send are sheet stamps.

I guess they did not notice that the Post Office never issued these stamps as sheets.

What this does, is give us an interesting insight on how these stamps are produced: they are not just photographing whole sheets and printing from that image. Instead they are taking individual images and constructing whole sheets.

Well, that shoots down the suggestion to never buy stamps for less than face value as a protection from counterfeits.

And all additional postage is 27.98USD. Regardless of the denomination of the stamps.

Alub, thanks for the post. LOL. That sort of ends the arguement I've had with a collecting friend. He called one of the "companies" and believed the reply that they acquire official USPS stamps when their parent company buys up all the deserted furniture of failed companies. Ho ho ho

Well, the page has the official USPS logo at the top, so it must be legit!

Wait... you mean usps.cn isn't the USPS website?
