The sender is competing in the June 1927 Womens Invitational Golf Tournament at Buffalo County Club. Here name is Margret and I'm not sure if this is her husband she is sending the letter to. She is from Canada. Can anyone read the last name?

McBain what I see too. Look at the N of Nova Scotia to see how her capital N's and M's are written, and then see the n of Havana that looks like a u.

Full name:
Alexander McDougall McBain

In this Nova Scotia Bank publication from 1943 he is listed as the Manager in the Foreign Relations Department.

McBain is also mentioned in this Tourist Guide Book of Cuba from 1926 so he was apparently posted there for quite some time. Perhaps there is no personal relationship between the sender and addressee, and this letter may be just a business or travel inquiry.

She (Margaret) calling him her darling and was telling him how bad she shot in the event and missed him. But not sure what the relationship is. I am in contact with the buffalo country club trying to find out who she was. So far no luck going back that far.

From the Family Search genealogy website.

It appears that Margaret would have been a wife.

Edit to add comment: It appears they were married about three months after this letter.
