Uhuh, you are probably correct Collin,
as long as people get into the habit of scanning in
a usable format.
A gentleman provided Mekeels images some 3-5 years ago,
but were gigantic *.bmp images from memory,
I was on dial up, and could not afford the time to download.
I nicked the page on NZ adverts on stamps, that was about all.

The suggestion as the lady "Monaco" on the Prince Albert design.

The genesis of the connection with "Devota"

where the saint's remains were interred.

Hello jagsp and welcome,

The stamps you uploaded are from the 1955 Albert Schweitzer set. I don't have these in my collection, so if you have a spare set just lying around...???

I do have these also from 1955.

Jules Verne:

And celebrating the Marian year:

Apparently this shape was very popular in Monaco in 1955.

Nice pics, everyone!

A friendly reminder. I am not administration, but please observe the 50 quality post (14 day membership) rule, before you can buy/sell/trade. You get past it before you know it, so it really isn't difficult. It is a time-tested and time-honored rule, that in my opinion has really made this a wonderful and trustworthy site.

Thank you!

Sorry, I misunderstood your post. Thanks again for showing your Monaco pages! I still have a ways to go before my early Monaco comes close to being as full as yours!

The more I see of Monaco stamps, the more I think about really collecting them. It's just amazing how a small principality like this can make so many beautiful stamps.

I bought some stamps online from Monaco Post, some engraved stamps and they're great. Am pondering what to do and the stamps posted just get me slobbering all over the place

Rod,

Thanks for bumping this thread forward 7 years!

Monaco just has some beautiful stamps, don't they? I might have to collect more of them, especially since I will be visiting Monaco as part of a family vacation in the spring
