Hi Rob,

It's not mine unfortunately.

Looks like it sold for $750 (australian) in 2009.

A couple of other £1 covers including the thin paper one previously mentioned were also in that sale but did not appear to have sold.

And a few other values from the set too. Some on very attractive covers. So they ARE out there.

Thanks for the kind comment. I was told by dealers that my collection is most unusual and one of the best collections they have seen, I was flattered when they said that, but to me, I like collecting entire sets including whatever variety that is part of that collection, including all the FDCs regardless of cost.
All the stamps are MUH, unless there is a good reason to collect MLH or used stamps.

I saw the auction site, pity I didn't know about this then, I would have bought a few covers. The thin paper FDCs would have been of great interest to me.
