In 1979 Australia field tested two stamp vending machines in Brisbane. Two "stamp folders" were created for the tests. The 60c folder contained three of ASCS 597/SG 673 Little Grebe issue of 1978. The 80c folder had four of the same stamp.

ACSC states that as these folders were not available generally, just in Brisbane, they are not eligible for catalogue status. In an appropriate place in the ACSC catalogue's booklet section they offer their valuation for the two folders.(SG make a similar staement re the status of these folders but, true to their convictions, do not assign values to them.)

Unfortunately, the my latest ACSC for decimals is 1988. (Not my main interest by far.) Can anyone let me know what they now give as an "uncatalogue" value?

To my knowledge these booklets were on sale at all Philatelic Sales Centres throughout Australia. They are probably worth not much more than face value as they are quite common.
