While I agree the cancel on the stamp is from Baltimore, the overlay is clearly not from the same device.

The device in the overlay does not match, so the serifs do not matter. Your first post implies that the cancels match. It's just bad evidence and research technique when images of the correct Baltimore cancel will not be difficul to find. Sorry to be so blunt.

The combination of "Baltimore" and "stampless" on ebay returns numerous hits.

A much better postmark match, although for those reading this thread, there was another image within the first post which has since been deleted, so several of the posts made by me before this one make little sense now. Sigh. (Hint, please don't edit previous posts once relevant replies have been made.)

Others should be able to assist with your plating topic.

After much reflection, and making several comparisons of the original item that I had posted (the brown item above), In my opinion, the devices would appear to be the same. My overlay of the original may have been lacking in placement throwing off the Aspect Ratio. The greatest difference in the Baltimore cancels I have made comparisons with has been color, serifs, and the gaps between the lettering and the Outer circle.

But, I've been wrong before.
