I have gotten mail with barcoded U.S. postage. One is a flag and the other is a drawn deer in snow. My understanding is that these were printed in a self-serve kiosk. Do these have Scott Numbers?

They're listed in the Scott US Specialized under Computer Vended Postage. The catalog numbers have a prefix of CVP. The color pictures on those described are pre-printed on the paper stock. The bar code and other info are printed at time of purchase.
I just saw reference to "date when switched over" but can't recall! can't be too many years ago.... we now use "SSK" instead of "APC" for these Self-Serve Kiosks in post office lobbies. Unless I'm way off base, earlier some printed "APC" as part of text, then later "SSK" (or maybe SSK never printed, but no longer printing APC coincided with USPS relabeling the kiosks). You get the idea.
