Hi
I spent many years collecting GB Machins using Deegam reference.
I also collect Victorian mail.
I live in Dundee, Scotland.
I now specialise in mail in and out of Dundee 1840 - 1901, people, industry and events.
I am a member of DDPS, Dundee District Philatelic Society.
I was president for 3 years.
We have a great club with a vast knowledge base.
We have display nights and competitions and hosted Congress at Perth last year.

Regards
David

DundeePostal,

Looking forward to you sharing your knowledge on this board. Please encourage other members of your club to do the same.

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences.

My personal bias is a used stamp loses the story of its journey in the postal service when it is removed from the cover it transported to its destination. Collecting postal history adds a whole new aspect to your journey in our hobby.

Wishing you many enjoyable future days in our hobby. Russ

Welcome DundeePostal! Good to see another from our side of the pond. Nowhere near Dundee for a philatelic meeting though, in sunny North Wales!
Regards
