Had a very hard time seeing the country until I zoomed in on the image. When you have the light right on it, it all looks white. Interesting I thought.

From the bilingual Noël / Christmas, I would start looking at Canada. But it is somewhat hidden among the matrix-printed cancellation.

look VERY close. CANADA is noted on the right of the image vertically bottom to top. I do not see any value or marking to denote postage. Even if a 'forever' type there should be some type of marking to note same. Maybe a header strip from a sheet issue or top/header section of a Canadian booklet where the actual stamps were below. (SA type)?? (I do not collect Canada issues)
