Found these in a recent purchase. I was reading where if you place these on a sheet of orange paper, then the color is obvious. (Block of 4 is a normal stamp for comparison.)

Not in the greatest shape, but still.
Are they 369s?

Thanks

Great find, and good photos. This post should be pinned for showing examples for anyone else who thinks they have a bluish paper. This looks like the real deal, and shows how nice the color 'pops' when placed on orange paper.

I had one like those 3 on the right in my collection. sold it 15 years ago. A guy from Chicago gave me $75.00 for it. Needed money at the time. haven't been able to replace either.
Most of the ones I've seen for sale don't seem to have blue paper. even seen a couple of certified that don't look like the paper is blue.

Stampfire, again, the paper is not really blue but greyish. Look at the OP's pictures !

Thanks all for the kudos. Another find from the shoebox I picked up on the way out the door in Sarasota.

Sorry! looks blue to me. besides that, it is said repeatedly here that scans can't be counted on for color. BTW, just noticed his comment in parentheses about the block of 4.

They may look blue but the numbers show they are various shades of gray.

That is what "bluish" paper is. Grayish.
