I can find similar stamps but no mention of this particular version with "70". Forgery? Or are there multiple versions based on year: 68, 69, 70, etc...

Good to know. A few from my album. I assume there are forgeries in here.

The stamps look good. In the first row there are thin numbers except 50c. that goes down in the 3rd. row since they are thick numbers. that 50c. He is a type 10.

The thick figure variety was in service from 1868 to 1872, had only 10
lithographic transfer types for each value, and of the ones I managed to check I leave you an image, they are genuine.

Hola RTV! muchas gracias. Ok so I am sure I understand the 50 cent on first row - Scott #49 should not be there? it should move to row 3? But what about the . after the 50 not being present in that stamp? or am I not following. Thank you so much for helping me.

Nora.

Hello Nora,

Sorry for delay in reply. Here are the another thick numbers with different types. Your stamp Scott #49 is really Scott #62a, variety with "No period after 50". If you want to specialize in Mexico, you need to add or make some additional pages for those varieties. I hope this helps.
