Not sure how common this is, but I have singles from booklet 586b, ie 593xxvi which are different sizes in height.The left hand stamp is smaller.

Hello Rfw125,
Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on what you collect, yes this is an occurrence that is fairly common. The stamps in some booklets are supposed to measure 24mm high. Not sure about these) When the panes all still attached together in the printing press they go through the perforator. There is often a bit of allowance made for the paper so it is not too tight against the sides of the presses. So, yes, sometimes a 1 mm difference in the top stamp makes a 1 mm difference (23mm) and then the bottom stamp measures 25mm. When shown side by side they really show nicely. Keep your eyes open and you can find a nice add-on to your regular stamps.
The only little problem is that these can be cut with scissors to make them smaller.
Best to display these when in a mint booklet. Happy hunting
