I would like to know what you think about the color of the paper on this two cents Washington stamp, it has 12 perforations and because of its dark ink color I would say it is a scott#375b. The watermark is complex, but I think it is double... The paper, regardless of the color acquired by the passage of time and the occasional bad wash (loose ink from the postmark), has an extremely dark tone, I thought it could be humidity but there are no signs of usual color changes where it attacks more strongly, but rather which is a strong homogeneous brown/grayish tone throughout the surface. Since this two cents model has the bluish paper variant, I thought that might be that...what do you think?

Stamp looks stained and toned. Also the watermark on bluish paper examples is usually very strong, and easily seen.
