Was organizing my older stuff I never look at and this popped up.
An actual splice. Funny thing, I just recently started buying WF splices.
What should I do with it?

Soak it and it will unfold to be just the bottom selvedge piece, which over time has stuck-fast to the back.

Isn't this just the stamp-edging folded over and adhering to the gum on the back of the stamp?
