Preparing to sell off my collection and trying to catalog to get an idea of value. WMK 49 & 55 seem to be prevalent. However, this one does not appear in Scott's. Anyone have info on this watermark?

Hi jrh2of3,

It's a marginal watermark, that says NEW SOUTH WALES POSTAGE in full.

The perforation gauge and the datestamp (1904??) will determine the catalogue number.

Hope this helps

You may want to edit the thread title to say Wales rather than Whales

At the time it was the longest used plate in the world. Maybe it still has that record?
