Are these just fabrications or real essays. They are engraved with no marks on the back except for a little offset . Thanks for the help.

They are indeed very nice engravings, but bottom line, be familiar with the modern souvenir cards when buying vintage proofs. Those from souvenir cards are often a different size, and ebay lots seldom carry any scale or dimensional data.

You can learn a lot by just scrolling through the image galleries on the Souvenir Card Collectors Society website -- http://souvenircards.org/html/menu_gallery.html

USPS cards (PS gallery) typically feature enlargements of U.S. stamps in their issued form. BEP cards (B gallery) show stamps at actual size -- like the three Zeps -- but usually without their denominations.
