Back again, but this time a purchased imperf Penny Red sc. #3.
Anybody want to take a stab at plate? Opinions on condition? Hopefully not fake or something else I overlooked?
Thank you for looking!

A couple of marks/pitting look like pin holes in the scans, but in person and with a small flashlight shining up underneath it doesn't.

I think you are correct Bobby.

One or two small rust spots. Those look like pinholes, but there being so many might be a sign it is the paper.
Quite a nice Maltese Cross.

It is quite a nice example with excellent margins.

@Bobby De La Rue
Thank you for the plate ID!

@NSK and @Floortrader
Thank you for the evaluations... I hope the "foxing" doesn't get worse.

By the way, I also received a penny red perforated (scott #33) from the same dealer. It has a pin hole through the ear that could not be detected with the scan supplied in ad.... in dealer card, back not shown and not high resolution. I think going forward I will be more careful, but for the prices I paid on these, it's an okay start.
I will be looking forward to the local stamp show later in the year to buy in person.... I'll report back with a comedy of errors, regardless!
