How did this misplacement of perforations to the right on the left two stamps occur?

Actually, it has more to do with the fact that this is a coil jump strip in the middle between the two left and two right stamps..

The two stamps on the left are on an upper vertical height displacement and the two stamps on the right are on a lower vertical height displacement.

The distance between the rows of perforations remained about the same.

However, the horizontal space distance between the middle jump is wider than usual.

This resulted in the perforations on the left appearing to be shifted to the right more.

One curved printing plate was used at one time on a press that had a cylinder that was bigger than the plate. The paper web had to be stopped after the plate made its last contact with the paper and had to wait until the plate came back to contact the paper again as it rotated on the press and the paper web would be moved again to repeat the process. This would result in the image being higher or lower vertically at the point of contact and wider or narrower horizontally in between at the point of recontact. For the above example, it appears to have been higher and wider than the previous at the point of recontact.
