Picked up this nicely centered $1 Entry of Goods first issue R67c. What's going on in the upper left corner. Is that a plate scratch or a plate crack? Is this the Scott listed position 43?

Pretty stamp! It looks like a scratch to me, it is too straight to be a crack in my opinion
