I've had mail from Cleveland go to Memphis, then Dallas, back to Memphis and finally my post office.

I think a lot of this shuffling between facilities is faulty automation. But there may also be some "just get it off my hands" going on.

I had a letter with stamps sent from Oregon to Florida that when through either the Bahamas or Barbados. The letter actually arrived 7 months later intact so I was able to pay the seller back for his refund.


One more- KAP Stamps in Illinois sent me an Xmas card in mid-December that arrived in late January (Florida).

Well, now I don't feel so bad - those last 4 days between Memphis and my post office - 65 miles - still ticks me off, though. BTW, I finally got my mail. . .
