1-2 cents/stamp on a lucky day, if you find any taker, which is very unlikely. But, remember, you're not allowed to trade until you reach 50 posts.

1 March 1976
Edifil nr. 2310

One in a set of three stamps. It is catalogued at € 0.20 used (Edifil 2023), i.e., true value is as Cursus wrote.

Juan Sebastián Elcano was the captain of the 'Victoria,' the 'nao' depicted on the stamp. This was one of the ships in the 1519 expedition of Ferdinand Magellan and the only one to return to Spain, completing the circumnavigation of the world.

Internationally, Magellan is the better-known person for being commander of the fleet. In the Spanish mindset, however, he forfeited his claim to being the first to circumnavigate by dying on the way. The Spanish have issued many stamps honouring Elcano.
