First of all I would like to thank NSK for thinking that my stamp might be one of the special printing type of stamp that everyone's dreaming about..
Umm, NSK was using words that seem to sound like agreement, but is actually a complete disagreement with your assumption. We call it sarcasm.
I personally think we can give you better comments if you give us better SCANS ... not photos. We need to see the details of the stamp, and then some of us will reply back showing you what in your SCAN provides definite proof or disclaims your assumption of authenticity.
Also, as has been stated in some different ways, the probability of you having something worth many thousands of dollars is very, very, very low. So, please start with the assumption that you do NOT have an expensive stamp by seeing if your stamp fits the criteria for the less expensive ones. If you find that it matches everything for that less expensive one, then it is NOT the expensive one, so don't ask for us to confirm your claim without PROOF that something on your stamp is pointing to the fact that it COULD be the expensive one. One way of providing a semblance of proof is by providing SCANS of two stamps side-by-side (taken at the same time), showing us a normal stamp with the one you believe is a rarity, and then circling or otherwise pointing to the feature that makes you believe it is that rarity.
Also, please figure out how to use the SEARCH function on this forum. If you type in a few keywords, you will probably find a similar claim by someone else on the exact same question that you have. You can then read through that thread to understand how the community attempted to help that person work their way to the correct answer. You may not like what they recommended, but that is your choice. If you disagree, then the best way of continuing the discussion is, again, by providing some type of PROOF as to why you believe the community is wrong. I would think by different SCANS or showing how a different forum came up with a different reasoning on the same issue.
So, although you point out that most of us haven't been to Malaysia to understand how some of the systems work there, you have to understand that most of the members of this community have been involved with stamp collections and collectors for many, many years and have heard almost all types of questions and claims. These people are from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, etc., so they have some of the same documentation problems that you have. They can sometimes give you a very quick answer based on the condition, color, cancellation, perforation rate, or something else that they have seen many times. At other times, they may want a different type of SCAN ... maybe even the back of the stamp, to help with their further comments. Some in this community may also want to help you to help yourself, by providing just enough hints so that you will do he rest of the research to find the answer yourself.
So, back to the beginning ... always assume you have a common stamp before just asking this community to agree that it is a rarity. Show us SCANS as to why you think the way you do.
You may detect a trend in my comments. The word SCAN means to use a flat bed SCANNER rather that your phone. Anything 300 dpi or higher will help us.
Good luck.
