Top margin is nice, but I would not call it XF with the other margins being narrow and the bottom margin touching or clipping the design.

Still a very pretty strip with a light cancel, but as a whole, not an XF grade.

Hi, the right stamp is cut in, the middle stamp is at least touching if not in at bottom. The left stamp appears clear. I don't see how that qualifies as an XF strip.

Jeesh $200 is a lot for that strip of three, in my non expert opinion.

Maybe $40? Unless one of the stamps has a shifted transfer or interesting re cut…?

Hello, mottaz,

Your 11A strip of 3 was printed from plate 3 (a very common plate). I plated the stamps to sheet positions 28R3, 29R3, and 30R3. The right stamp (30R3) has 3 lines recut in the upper-left triangle, a minor variety with a minor premium over basic catalog value. If the strip of stamps have anything written on the back, please let us know.

The strip has nice margins, with parts of adjoining stamps showing above. It appears to have a horizontal bend or crease about three-quarters of the way down from the top, and the ink appears to be slightly discolored.

I agree that the strip would not grade XF because most of the bottom frame line on the right stamp is cut off. 2023 Scott catalog value for a problem-free strip of 3 is $140, and I don't believe it would sell for full catalog value.

You can search ebay for sold items for some actual sales info. The Scott catalog for a strip of three is $140. I see one that sold for almost that, but it is much better centered than yours. I see another one that went at auction for $37 that is a bit nicer than yours.

The horizontal crease will certainly detract.

A crease like that can easily take 80-90% of the value away from an otherwise sound item.
That is considered a major fault.

To me, this item 'feels' like a $20-25 item, give or take some.

edit: the overall nice appearing front, might buy you a bit of goodwill on the price.
