and if so why that blue color ,can sun light change the color to that extent or is that due to the printing it self .

Something bleached out the yellow in the green, leaving just the blue.

if it is something like that I will agree to sunlight not chemicals as it is a very old collection belong to aan old man no need to play that games.

Stamp may have beed soaked in water containing any number of possible chemicals. Bleach, dish soap, chlorine and many other possibilities. Album paper or page protector chemical possibility. No games required.

Whatever happened to it over more than 100 years it is a beautiful stamp for your collection. But a light bleach solution over time may have changed the color...

may be it any kind of bleach but it was in an old preservative envelope , my opinion it is the sun if that possible because it mostly came to egypt on a cover ,and may be left on a place directly to sun.
