Hello,

Is this the stamp cataloged as #4II in Michel?

I don't know the difference between "Friedensdruck" and "Kriegsdruck"…

I appreciate the help.
My best regards!

Peace Paper and War Paper. Look in Michel for Germany to get details on how to tell the difference in papers.

Let me help the new collectors and new readers here .

Germany had two printings of this stamp ,one before WW1 and during the war. the war issues are of a poor quality and darker . .

The stamps used by the 9th army in Romania, were the pre-war issues .

Here are examples from my collection . As you can see the stamps used in Romania are the sharp impression ,and the stamps in the background are darker color with poor impressions .
Hope this helps ....
