Several thoughts come to mind:
1. I can't tell where you are looking to do your stamp ID, but hopefully in a Scott catalog, nor what Scott number you have determined it to be (should be U385).
2.
ebay should be used with a grain of salt. The price of active listings means virtually nothing since you could offer your own item for 10 cents or $10million. The more important resource on
ebay is the sold listings page. I am not seeing any $19K listing.
3. This is an extremely common work-horse design, in all its variants. A cut square with a very narrow margin at the left is worth less than a forever stamp to mail it to someone. Sorry, but that's the way it is.
