I picked this up from Denny Peoples' "pick-n-pay" box at the MSDA show in Kenosha, WI a few weeks ago. There's nothing remarkable about either the stamp or the document itself, but that handwriting/penmanship is something else...
Not shrooms. Up until about 1960, that's the way U.S. schools taught kids to write in cursive. Today's kids are doing good if they can PRINT anything by hand rather than by machine.
I am also old enough to remember that practice paper. And shrooms may well have been involved in the situation illustrated above; I also think it's rather elegant with a consistent flourish. My cursive handwriting has deteriorated over the years to the point where I think I'm finally eligible for medical school which my parents always wanted me to attend.
