Was wondering if the word "und" is part of the cancelation or an overprint....
Your thoughts?

Thank you

Sylvain

If you note the angle of the cancellation text, the "und" line is the same as the other and likely just like the others, not fully printed. I trust someone will post a clear version of the full cancel eventually.

I agree.

The bottom part reads 'WEIHNACHTS / MARKT'.

So, something und Weihnachtsmarkt, That something might be WEIN, or the WEIN part of GLÜHWEIN, traditionally sold at Christmas markets.

Edit: There exists a Mosel-Wein-Nachts-Markt, also referred to as Mosel Wein- und Weihnachtsmarkt in Traben-Trarbach.

Usually, this is the point where I would wait for vayolene to come up with an example.

I think NSK is spot on with "WEIN und WEIHNACHTSMARKT".

Here's a Bremen postmark from the stampsx site that may be the one shown here:

and here's the description from the site:

Bremen is not the first place I would go to for wine.
In the not too distant future, I might be picking up a tinto from the Bierzo.
