Hello everyone.

I need some advice about a collection from Germany (1960/1980).

All stamps came as single and as bloc of 4, MNH as they are hinged by the stamp sheet border on some kind of gray card glued on a golden piece of paper

The pages are self made :

So the thing is quite nice but would you keep it as this, break it to put them in mounts or stocksheets ? I am not sure of the quality of the paper (acid or not) but would like to keep the work of the unknown collector who made this.

What would you do ?

Leave it as it is. It looks nice and no one will ever get rich off of it.

For sure, there's nothing of value here.

I'm thinking of punching the pages and mount them in a binder, but I'm not sure if it's safe to leave the stamps on such papers.

I shouldn't spend too much time worrying about the paper - if there are no signs of damage, and it's staying in dry conditions, just putthem in binders.

If most pages have good margins on the left side you could also consider springback albums so you do not have to punch holes and can display/ interchange pages at will. But they are much more pricy.
