Hi there - that name is already taken by an older, more popular stamp. This is known as a Venetian Red from 1880 or so. Not worth much but like all GB stamps you should check the watermark to see if it's upside down. Maybe this was fiscal use and not sent as postage? Royal Bank? There is a faded pen date along with the cancel. SG #166.
As identified by paddle_more (SG166), issued 1-1-1880, one from the so-called "provisional' issue. Clear revenue use. That is not a postal cancellation, but a company's "paid" cancellation.
It is highly common and the revenue use renders it almost (financially) worthless.
