I'm pretty sure this would be a BOB.. I don't see anything in my 2019 Scott, no doubt it likely overlooked it BUT Ty in advance for any help!

The 5ct rate seems to indicate a confederate local provisional. My best guess.

Siegel last sold the only recorded example of this stamp as a pair on cover in 1983 and none since. So no, it is not genuine. At all. Nyet. La. Nein.

The problem with the naive, from stamps to Douanier Rousseau, is that, by definition, it's easy to fake.

While it probably is fake. I suspect somewhere there are extremely rare stamps dismissed as fake just because owners can't beleive that they have had an almost impossible piece of luck.

Alas, it is MUCH more likely that out there people have fakes that they think are genuine, Or have common types that they think are rare varieties.
