Consider it fake unless certified. All of these Locals were heavily faked. I believe that PacelPostGuy gave you some references to use in another topic?
Someone shared a site with me to help understand stamps better, and it was actually really good. I think it was in my post about stamps from 1908. I even think the site was shared with me twice. Is that what you mean?
It is Forgery B, as identified in Larry Lyons' three-volume reference The Identifier for Carriers, Locals, Fakes, Forgeries and Bogus Posts of the United States (p. 745).
